Default Our Automotive Stores and Pricing?

People always say to me, go to Bursons for parts, best prices....
Well over the years, i have found that to be anything but true.

Today i'm just chasing a Timing Belt kit for my Landcruiser 1HD-FTE

Genuine Toyota Kit (Timing Belt, Sub- Assembly and Tensioner) $300

Dayco KTBA 171H would be a non genuine replacement.

    eBay:$199 + $15ph

    Autobarn: $250

    Supercheap: $312

    Bursons: $389.50

FFS, Burson is almost twice as much for the exact same part as eBay and $90 more than Genuine Toyota parts!
Let alone being $140 more expensive than Autobarn for the exact same kit, which is 400meters further down the road.

Im sure all companies are making their healthy margin on this kit, but a healthy margin + an additional $140.... come on.

There are a few Auto Repairers on this site.... What do you find?
The variations are crazy in my view...
Only makes you question anything else they have for sale.

If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
