    Everyone knows what this is....

It is just like when someone is caught for embezzlement, all of a sudden they have a Gambling Addiction and/or Drug Habit.

But he has now apparently "mumbled" something about he did it because of the way people treat Muslims. Thats after police denied it was terrorist related.

I see our from telling us falsehoods about ethnic crime, so they have wheeled in a stand in.

I don't know who has the worst state government....Victoria or South Australia. The only difference is no one cares about South Australia

I'm astounded. That whole park has been trashed and NOW, MAYBE, there MIGHT be SEVERE consequences of the law!

    Are they serious?

It looks like there's nothing left to save?

How come at the FIRST sign of disrespect/vandalism/violence/rampant drug use that they didn't "feel the full force of the law".

"This is not about ethnicity, it's not about people's background, it's not about religion, it's about their behaviour, so any conversation that goes on around ethnicity needs to be squashed."

Yes Marty, just keep ignoring that massive elephant in the room...denial has been so effective so far.

Cultural backgrounds of those involved in the violence was irrelevant.... really?

    Only about behaviour?

There appears to be some other common links in these crimes.

Perhaps some investigation re-training is in order for you sir.

But that 'water pipe' they favour in the Middle East uses something and I am sure its not tobacco burnt in it because they have been using it long before the America's were discovered and Tobacco introduced to Europe in the 16th Century.
They do seem how ever to have a very long history with growing of the Poppy plant.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Yes, I saw this. Vic’s problems are just what was said, weak sentencing.

All the tools are there for police and the judiciary to utilize but the judiciary simply refuse to use them and are aggorantly void of considering community expectations.

Correct, but the problem here is that the Government don't have enough gaols to lock 'em all up, and the public would have to foot the bill for locking them up which, sadly, would cost more than letting 'em run free. If they are "imports", i.e. not born here, then they should be immediately returned to their place of origin, never to return, regardless of their citizenship status. If Born here, then lock 'em up.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

They seem to be able to build a sporting stadium when ever they want!

Yeah, but, at least the sporting stadium does give them some return on their "investment".

Most jewelry stores in Melbourne are now buzz in only.......you cant just walk in the door anymore. You need to ring a buzzer and be assessed before entry.

I can see a lot of business going broke with this.

Only if your interested in sport. Personally I'd sooner see my TAX dollar spent on schools, police stations (and members), hospitals (heck we all need them too), road repair (and enhancement). Lots more before sport in my books
