    Click bait. There’s no risk at all for the 99% of users who have a NAT router and have not enabled port forwarding to their Kodi box.

    Considering the remote access web server is disabled by default on kodi, you would have to enable it, then leave the settings at their default, then forward port 8080 to the kodi box on your router. Seems like an unlikely scenario. (but not impossible)
