Well, I had a collision the other day in the work vehicle.
Got tee boned.
Had to be cut out by SES an CFA ( those guys and girls are silent angels!!!!!)
Walked away without a scratch!!!!!
I attribute this to......
1. The side curtain airbag. 100% saved me from serious head trauma
2. The seat belt tensioner. Pull me hard into the seat and held me tight.
3. That wonderful vest that those in my profession are required to wear. It’s already designed to be a massive shock absorber to stop projectiles and in an collision it also absorbs and dissipates the shockwave away from you vital organs.
Won’t and can’t say much more but I just wanted to pay homage to automotive technology employed in model cars!
Still went to hospital for the usual checks

Jokes aside glad you're ok & the technology worked for you.
Cheers, Tiny

Glad to hear you were not injured porkop.
Damn, that looks nasty, were you on the way to a job and the other driver didn't see you?

Glad to hear you are OK ... Even though it seems you are not physically hurt, take it easy, I would expect you will need a little time to recover from the shock of this anyway

So glad your ok mate, the divy van looks a mess, you were very lucky

Glad you're ok mate.
And that no one else was hurt...
I wouldn't be looking forward to the paper work and grilling though.
They loose their shit when you scratch one, never seen what happens if you bend one.
Wasn't a car load of Sudanese was it?

No, just another driver. Probably didn’t see me. I didn’t see them that’s for sure.
Paperwork. Might have to have a dose of amnesia?

Back in the 'Good Ol days' all that would have been needed to put your vehicle back on the road was a bucket of warm sudsy water, scrubbing brush and some cloth to salvage what was left of you because the vehicle with its full frame chassis, 3mm(1/8th inch ) pressed metal body, unyielding seats and no interior padding, would have tossed you about like a pea in a can while leaving the vehicle in an almost pristine condition.
Today however its the vehicle that comes off second best, sometimes to the point of being written of for what may appear minor damage but, who cares you can soon go and get a replacement even for a vehicle like that with its specific equipment in a few days unlike the occupant that takes a lifetime to replace.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

good to hear you're all good. Was chatting to a mate in a similar biz about cust service and he said his customers were never right lol

besides the impact , did the airbag scare the crap out of you when it went off ?

Pleased to see you here telling the story, mate!
Many aren't as fortunate.

Do what everyone else does, blame insufficient training, you're actually the victim..... put it back on them.....
Some retraining and everyone gets out with their integrity intact
As others have said, very happy you or the other party weren't injured in anyway.
We don't need to see posts from the Operating Theatre
