Bosch wireless Radion B810 receiver.. Best place to mount?

where is the best place to install the B810 receiver? I have the control panel in the second story roof (easy run to the external alarm) and have runs to the garage for door operation and keypad. Should the receiver be installed next to the garage motor (I have wireless PIR upstairs) or on the second story on the ceiling near the front of the house for maximum range? It says not near metallic objects. The entire roof is tin. Manual gives generic spacing for maintenance but no overall best place for range- i know that depends on application and mine is mostly for garage door and arming from down the driveway.

So is best mounting up high in the second story roof, on the second story ceiling a little away from all the tin or down low near the garage motor? Or others?

I am confident the wireless PIR will reach it whenever it is. I'm not so confident about the key fobs but 433mhz is pretty good range in general.
