Default Bosch 3000 - PIR Setup Issue

    Guys,

I am replacing an old solution 8 panel and PIRs and have an issue that I just cannot work out.

I have tried wiring these 3 in multiple ways and I am still getting a trigger note on the screen.

The unit detects movement but doesn't trigger the panel to alarm.

The current setup is as follows in the photos

I have also tried having the resistor just across the NC / NC and leaving the T / T empty.

I haven't even goto the connectix 3G yet so that will be interesting to setup im sure....

What zones are the pirs wired to in the panel.
I think they have the wrong value resistors in them.
On the 3000 the first 8 zones are 3k3 resistors and when zone doubled 9-16 are 6k8.
The picture shows 6k8 resistors in pirs.

Thanks Secure.... What a dope yes I didn't realise I had both types supplied with the panel and was using the 6k8.

I switched over to the 3k3 and put that across the N/C and left the tamper ports empty but I am getting same on the panel.

Do I need to have something across the tamper ports also?

You need to make sure with these new Blueline PIRs that you have at least 8mm of copper (doubled over) in the screw terminals. I have found anything less can sometimes give you this problem. Good luck.
