    Default Vale scannsw ??

I must have hit the reset on my decrepit old R/S Pro37 when I changed the battery pack and it lost its mind and except for 1 channel on VHF I cant remember a UHF one I had for the local Police.
I thought I would try scannsw site to see if it was back as I heard /read somewhere months ago it had gone but no, its not there.
I gather the Sydney area and others have finaly gone encrypted but untill a few weeks ago my area was still both VHF and UHF analog.
But now I cant find the UHF channel after a scan even though the old VHF is still chattering away happily today with prangs on the wet mountain roads.
I scanned from 465 to 470 which should have heard something but didnt.
Bathurst is almost upon us and its always good for bit of entertaiment.
Has scannsw gone altogether and does anyone know if this western area (UHF) gone over to digital or now encoded as well ?

I do recall seeing a message on aus.radio.scanner months ago with an unofficial explanation as to why the ScanNSW website has been closed although I cannot remember the exact contents of it. Yes it has closed down...

Most of NSW (if not all) have gone digital with the extended bad news being that they are also using the associated encryption. Down here in Victoria we still have the VHF frequencies active, just no UHF ones.

Unfortunately it's to the metro police networks for us.
