    Question burn DVDRip.XviD-iMOVIE files

Any suggestions as to how I burn a DVD from these files please
The containing folder has 1 jc-bpw.nfo file and numerous jc-bpw.r04 files.
I have no idea what program to use.
    Thanks Marty

you need to use winrar etc to extract the r04 files to a single xvid file.

then use authoring software to burn to dvd. try nerovision or something similar.

    1: extract with win rar

    2: convert with VSO ConvertXtoDvd

    3: burn with nero

    4: play with dvd player

right click on any rar file and drag it then release right button and select extract here.
or if you double click on a rar file it open the whole volume for you, then just extract the video file.

    fair enough.
Older versions of nero would not copy stuff burnt by convertxtodvd ( said it was not properly authored) but is fixed now.

    Hi,

Just reading for some similar help.

I have been downloading video clips in Xvid.avi format (Skidvid etc)

They play ok on the pc, but my dvd player cannot recognise the format, so I need to convert them. I am putting them onto a usb stick for playing them, not a dvd at this stage.

I also have ConvertXto dvd, however it only appears to have the option to burn direct to a dvd, but not store the image to desktop etc. Have I missed the setting to do this, or is another free type download available that can undertake this conversion for me?

    Thanks as always....

Generally you get to choose your burner or an image file as the target.
Avi2dvd will convert and burn to disc or image (ISO) as well as nerovision which is what i use mostly these days.

In ConvertXto dvd under settings/general you can set the working folder to what you want.

Then under settings/burning untick option burn result to dvd.
Then once the program has finished converting you will have a folder in your working folder you set earlier. You then can move/copy them to where ever you want to.

Remember to re tick burn option for later use or files will always end up in the working folder.
    Cheers.

    As Billy Goat posted +
Under the burning tab in options where your burner is listed, change it to
    "ISO image in working folder"
What happens if I press alt + F4?

    Thank you for the replies.

I can't seem to find the part "Under the burning tab in options where your burner is listed, change it to
    "ISO image in working folder"

I am using convertxtodvd3...when I untick the option burn to dvd, I can't see a iso option.

I think I am misunderstanding things?
