Wont work on public gamma, it connects but wont update, keep getting "Card not ok"

No-one should expect to find a working gamma file posted in public in that way, unless it's for a system that's so badly broken the providers have no way of fixing it in a reasonable timeframe (eg Irdeto 1). Why not?

• the handful of people involved in producing the original work won't release it because they're doing it for profit (huge profit!)
• their distributors won't do it because they're very few in number nowadays, carefully chosen and with their own interests at stake
• anyone without personal interest in its secrecy who somehow managed to get hold of the files is unlikely to post it publicly unless they had no friends who could benefit financially, educationally or for viewing entertainment. Public release cuts that opportunity short unless the provider's system is hopelessly broken.

So what does that leave?
- fakes by lamers seeking fame
- fakes by webmasters seeking site traffic (no, I'm not thinking of Austech)
- fakes by mischief makers seeking IP addresses (hackers, paytv companies)
- fakes by pranksters pushing malware
- april fools jokes
- gimmicks by bored people with too much time on their hands

Talk about dejavu...Just like the early gamma card craze when the .gam file was published that resulted in many aussies buying a card to only loose service after a month or so. It was a big scam to establish a market for the sellers.

This is just an Abracadabra card that is being pushed by the moresat team. 40 euros later on possibly only a few weeks of picture no more support. As experienced by the people in europe and middle east. Dont waste your time or money. It will not last long.

from my short experince with the Abracadabra card, he do the same thing as a gama card, was supose to open digiturk,orbit,multy choice south africa. and some ather providers, in the fact ther is no suport and i wasted 80 euro on new disien card:-(
