    Default Sony KV-PF14P10

    Hi,
we have three 14" Sony monitors all with CRT faults. Basically 1 gun on each monitor has gone faulty.
The sets are only about 3 years old and I'm reluctant to scrap them. Does anyone know if there are still places that re-gun crt screens.
Although it's likely to be price prohibitive anyway.
Dissapointed that all three sets (purchased together) suffered the same fate, makes me question Sony's build quality nowadays.

MrScaussie I have had a lot of success (95%) using a tube rejuvenator on shorted tubes.
Most of the old boys will have a tube rejuvenator at the back of there

Are you sure it's the CRT? I've found many dry joints on the neckboards of relatively recent TVs and monitors. Sony TVs are known for their dry joints, I haven't had a lot of Sony monitors, but the same reputation probably still applies.
