Hi
Has any one use a LNB KU/C Band Combo like the below from Ebay?
Is it effective or it degrade the C Band signal?
Thanks

They work a ripper on any DM box and we have been using here under another brand name for years now on both the C & Ku bands. They are a prime focus LNB with an A/B diseqc switch onboard.
You will see them also in the tele-sat magazine under the Infosat Brandname

Can these be obtained locally?

How much are these $A, I'm offered about A$72? So I do not need to run another wire, can use existing wire. What KU reception from Melb, seems there is none except for Optus D2 at 152.0°E?
have a look on Lyngsate mate there is a few sats with both C and Ku and a number of Ku only.

Thanks Leroy, I found this link, quite a dark picture
This one is $70
FYI - the wholesalers cost per 1,000 is less than a packet of Windfield 30's
