Look for an option to put the AP into client mode. If this option is there, select it and give the AP an IP on your network. Plug in your dreambox, also with an IP on your network and away you should go!

Just looking for anyone that can tell me IF a Linksys WAP54G will work...

I have'nt used this model but According to the manual it does support client mode & therefore should work.
How far have you gotten?
On the one's I've setup you turn on client mode you then search for the wireless network you want to connect to, select it & connect, when asked put in whatever security key you use for your wireless access point & it should work from there.
cheers
ok managed to get it connected etc..
can someone tell me how to limit connection to my router via MAC address only please ???

I found the VAR11G easy to setup and there cheep to, they do WEP 64/128bitWPA WPA2 and support SSID freq 2.4.
What i do to set it up is install software on PC then connect WiFi bridge to router via Ethernet from pc then run software follow instructions it finds mac and stuff then connect to DM and that's it. DM can be set on DHCP or you can choose your own ip for it. Tested on dm500s and dm7000s
hope this helps.
Another way is the Rukus wireless ethernet connection,Telstra shops had them on sale recently for $99.Hugh
