Thanks Jonc will try it in the next few days.
It doesn't download via remote. Maybe the next day or so?
Cheers, Saintaholic

manual install
ok, ok,
image erased, image loaded.
Colour!! Excellent image.
Thankyou!!
My IRD1 softcam works with the Cccam2.11 version. Strange? Or is my IRD1 currently FTA??
Cheers, Saintaholic
Must've been FTA for a while. Lost it. Reloaded Cccam 2.0.0 and all is good.
Cheers, Saintaholic
Cheers jonc,will update to jade2.
downloaded it & manually installed just like saintaholic, too easy.
Thanks guys
Some nice bug fixes! Great work guys.
A newbie question, does the 11/01/2009 CVS mean Jade2 contains Gemini-style crippled drivers? Or will it work with DM500 clones too? (I have both genuine and clone.)
I've just installed on a DM500 clone, it seems to work OK, the only problem I can see is that I seem to have less var memory available to me but that possibly something I am doing wrong.
I installed it the same way you did.
I then tried to download an older cam & it failed to download & installed because there wasn't enought var memory it was at 78%.
I've now gone & remove all the stuff that I had downloaded & it still shows that I have used 32% of the var memory.
I think I might flash it again & see what happens.
You must uninstall Ccamm first. Restart enigma and then proceed to download softcam again.
Cheers, Saintaholic
I had done that, my problem was that without anything installed it had used 32% of the availabe memory.
I am re flashing as I type, no problem easy enought to reconfigure.
Cheers
MV bug fix released
In the image of yesterday (filename ends with 6300.zip), the MV plugin complains about a illegal date. This has been fixed now. You can update your image very easily:
- Open "Dreambox settings" (MENU 6)
- Open "Software management"
- Open "Update your Dreambox software"
- Choose "Update the software now"
This will update your Dreambox software to the latest version which includes the MV fix only. Note that the update may take a while.

Loaded the image last night without issue (fresh load not update) but the LAN is not working now. That is, I can connect to the box via http but no luck when trying to download plugins, etc from the menu. I use a static IP & have done under PLI, Gem & Nabilosat without issue.
Very strange. Has anyone else experienced this?
check your gateway settings
yeah i checked but the gateway IP is correct. whats the nameserver used for?
Dunno. I've used the same settings with a number of images without issue. thinking theres something wierd with this image.
