    Default problem updating debian server to CCcam 2.1.0

    When I try and start the new version (updated from 2.0.9 to 2.1.0) I get the following errors

    /CCcam.x86: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by /CCcam.x86)

    /CCcam.x86: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /CCcam.x86)

    I found the following post on a linux forum

    "The 2.4 version was not included in any Debian package that I know of they had 2.3 then went directly to 2.5 you should see if you can get a version of the program that works with the newer version."

    Not being a linux guru is it likely that CCcam 2.1.0 would work with GLIBC_2.5 or are these libraries not backward compatible?

    found this on another forum

    Either update the lib files or update to debian 5 Lenny people.

    On debian 5 lenny CCcam 2.1.0 works out of the box without any problems.

    So time to update / upgrade for all of you :d

    By updating ur linux version u are also safer then with an older linux version + bug fixes ect ect.

    I posted this above before I saw your post .. It is the libary files that need updating .. Have a look at PClinuxOS 2009 a great distro.

    For Linux users please note you may need to update libstdc++so.6 through RPM
