Default konig sat meter manual apm 381

Hi we are new members & very green.. We have Konig 381 apm sat meter for lining up free to air, christian tv from D2, and are looking for basic advice or manual on above.. Appreciate any help in basic use of above.. We are attempting to donate portable dish to interested persons to try before fitment and buying..
Do we use 13v, 15v, 18v? What frequency mhz is D2 etc to be set to? What are we looking for on level/tone meters? Does power supply have to be regulated? Or is it inbuilt? LNB drain light / disabled light what does that mean?
    Appreciate any help...

    Welcome to the forum.
You don't have to adjust the 13/18 V, that is automatic when you switch between Horizontal and Vertical channels.
Is this the model that you have?

    Konig Electronic Satellite Finder

Shop Description: Allows user to find the best azimuth/elevation settings for a satellite dish resulting in the best signal reception/picture and sound quality.

If so, it is a very basic meter that you put in line with the dish co-ax cable and adjust your settings for Maximum.
Perhaps someone has a copy of the Konig Manual.
This site will give you plenty of info as to what is on the various Satellites in our Hemisphere.
Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".......

Drop the meter and get a cheap ebay "sat finder"
If your just starting off in sat that meters going to have way to many bells and whistles and you'll end up chasing your tail for hours...
D2 isnt that hard to find,

Theres plenty of threads already on austech about aligning a dish, just do a bit of searching and if you have any specific questions ask away. You'll get better responses this way rather than wanting to be spoonfed from the start.

The Konig APM 381 is a pro meter.

They were also sold with the Promax badge, model number MC360B.

    Here's the Promax manual.

Thanks to Beer4life, Urban_Soulja, and Mtv and others for interest, appreciate so far such a good site/forum.
Most of our problems came from: No manual, (thanks Mtv) and using cheap tripod and no complete loop from Konig 381 to realtime screen and re-connection of F to LNB, carefully, and polarization of LNB being out slightly
This is our interpretation of simple things going wrong maybe, and are back in some sort of "orbit"..
    Thanks again,
    Charlie/ Sam

Hi, My apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I just purchased this meter second hand and wondered if you have the service manual you could share or could advise me where to find one. Thank you.

I don't like your chances of locating a service manual, but there is a block diagram of the Promax MC360B in the operating manual, which should be some help.

In case you don't have it, I have uploaded a copy to .

Yeah I thought I was being optimistic, but I can use the flow chart anyway. Probably lucky they even bothered providing that. Cheers tristen.
