    Default NMIndexstoreSvr.exe has a problem.........

Heard of this NMIndexStoreSvr.exe program ?
I hadnt untill it suddenly appeared a few days ago telling me that it had a problem and after I clicked it off, 20 seconds later it reappeared and reappeared and reappeared and will continue to do so every 20 seconds after you close it.
I eventualy managed to delete it but then did a Googled and ended up in a forum called Afterdawn where this problem had been discussed since November 2005.
It is some part of Nero Scout according to this forum.
I hadnt used Nero for anything for at least 6 weeks so why and how this 'problem' occured, I dont have a clue.
Rather than try to copy what was said in the Afterdawn forum, I suggest anyone whose interested Google the file name or Afterdawn, its a forum not unlike this.

Check to see if you have done a windows update in the last couple of days
    Maybe try a system restore
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

That NMIndexStoreSvr.exe service started using 80-90% of my CPU few days ago. It didn't produce the error you have, but I don't know what is better. I simply shutdown the service and even was going to remove it from Windows startup configuration, but didn't. Restarted PC and everything went fine since then.

In that Afterdawn forum others said the same thing as you about it using up their CPU.
Another suggested it might be causing their computer not to surf the net and cause errors.
In the meantime I do suggest you check out the Afterdawn forum and see for your self what others have experienced.
By the looks of it, not everyone experiences the same effect.

I had the same problem a while back and turned the feature off and never had a problem since....

Launch Nero Scout by click Start > All Programs > Nero 7 (or 8) Ultra Edition > Tools > Nero Scout.

Uncheck the box next to Enable Nero Scout. Click OK.

    Cheers

Ps-: Do a restart after, then all should be sweet.
