Default Updating strong 4653x via USB?

i was wondering if anyone has had any major problems doing this? i tried before and it got stuck on 0% and it said do not turn off the STB but it took a while so i turned it off from the back, i was really scared that it damaged the box but luckly it was fine

so whats the worst that could happin if the upgrade does not complete and is it fixable??
