    Default CCcam 2.09 - f*x NDS card

I know that blueys are supposed to work in the dreambox with certain softcam solutions, but I am having trouble getting my card to work. It's come out of my cable box, but i'm told they're supposed to work in both types.

Has anyone actually come across this card before cause it doesn't look like a standard blue?

That seems to look like an old analogue card from a pace 100

I'm pretty sure you've got to configure your files to read the card. I couldn't read any cards in the slot until I loaded Newsc and configured that. Basically there is an 'upper & lower' card slot. The DM500S uses the lower config. I'm pretty sure there is also just a download via blue button you can load which does the same thing. It's not just a matter of loading it and away you go. You'll need to set ports etc. Do a search and you'll find it (Like I had to)

The other thing is, you say it came out of your cable box? Does that mean the cable box is currently working and receiving a service??

    Otherwise.................Ya Dreaming...................

blue cable cards have a tendency to fall over after a while if they're not in the provider box, I've seen them working in a DM sat box with NewCS1.65 and CCcam2.10 installed and configured appropriately.

I've tried CCcam from 1.7.1 to 2.0.11, all say the same in terms of debug output: "0911.871 CCcam: card init fail".

newCS also says "Unknown Card, trying irdeto" and falls over.

It still works in the provider box. I've configured it properly as it's working for my SelecTV sub.

I'll keep trying.. we'll see how I go.

try the newest SCAM, that might work, that is provided you have valid services on the card of course.

does this mean the old foxtel card is working for select TV ?
or that the dreambox is working for select TV ?

isnt select Tv on a different satellite to foxtel stuff ?

You display a picture of a 'Foxtel' card. The card is old.
You then say your box is working with SelectTV.
This does not qualify for the Foxtel to work!

Both services are on different satellites.

My question was simple. Does your FOXTEL card work in another box OK?

blue foxtel cable card does work in dreambox with no issues, apart from sometimes missing update. your card looks nothing like my blue foxtel cable nds card.

    this thread is awesome

the card you have shown is an old nds(newscrypt) card, the prov box you have it working in will be the stylish pace 100 or maybe even the up market pace 120 model, ahh the joys of stereo output.

This card/prov box combo will only work on an analouge cable system which i beleive has been turned off but i may be wrong.

IF you are still recieving pics on that card on the prov box in your home then do a search for ncphoenix and you could open up all those grainy washedout analouge channels. If you are taking hte pi$$ and not receiving pics then you will also require a time machine to make this card/box combo work.

This reminds me of a Pom that I once worked with and had a faulty radio. He brought it into work and said he couldn't pick up any channels. I plugged it in, got 3xy, 3aw, 3uz etc. I asked what the hell he was talking about........he said, No....the stations on the cover.....BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 etc......

Hang on..............maybe he has now got into SATELLITES!!!!
