    Default DM500S: none video-out

    Hi @ all

Im new in this forum. I`m from Switzerland and my english is not very wel

My Problem with my DM500 is (orig):
I don`t have any signal at Video-Out, Viedo-Out 0 V (Scart and Cich). But the volume is there, Audio-Out 1V. It is 100% an Hardware-Proplem.

The problem could be with any capacitor or transistor (Q100-Q104).

    Can anyone help me.

Thanks a lot & best regards

Have you tried the SVideo and RGB outputs? If the receiver is configured for a different output mode it's possible there may be nothing on the composite video output. In that case you'll need to use the other output, navigate into the setup menu and restore to Composite. Or as last resort you can use RS232 and DreamUp to Flash Erase and then reinstall.

It sounds like you've ruled that out though and are certain it's hardware related?

    Thanks for your answer. I flashed several with different Image`s. S-Video-out and RGB-out don`t work. I believe, it`s %100 an HW-Problem...

    @ Fernbay

    Thanks for your answer.
What do you mean exactly with "try resetting the box to CVBS via the web interface"?
