    Question Mobile SafetyCamsVIC

Not suprisingly the published spreadsheet only contains names of locations but no coordinates e.g Longitude/Lattitude. Anyone has the co-ords?

So it might be that you find similar POI's in the Tomtom files ,if the few kb for these files are a problem you can check them and delete the unwanted.
Same if the file is already on your device : Windows will ask if you want to overwrite - check the date and size and decide
If you check the whole size of the collection you would safe more memory by deleting 2 MP3's
Ok cool, what I was mis-interpreting was that I thought the POI's would appear under the TomTom POI's menu, not as new menu items
Obviously each POI included is a *new* menu item in itself, so now it makes more sense.

    Thankyou for your help

What is wrong with you ???
We usually post the links here as there is no use to mention that Home is offering new cams without posting them.
I read carefully ,but if you only post half of the story I have ask what is missing -and I did!

I don't act like a boos here and I don't need to win anybody's respect - especially not yours.
If there is one thing that I don't like in a forum than it is a noob posting crap and acting like you did after a simple question !

Next time just post the download link like everyone else you will get a "thank you instead" of a question.....

Is the forum free to discuss the stuff that we all are interested in?

Or we have to follow the rules that were set how to post reply, something like "lastet version, here is the link"?

I found the updated version of speed cam from Home, still some value to this forum, At least we get to know there is a newer version out there. If I get the link last night, I would post it straight away. Is that what you call posting crap?

Don't assume that anyone else has the same knowledge as you. Put yourself you are the person who try to help, not the one who teach / order ppl to do what you want.

This is very confusing for me :
    1. : Don't assume that anyone else has the same knowledge as you. I don't assume as I know quite few people with more knowledge and never tread a noob like a professional - otherwise no noob would understand my postings.

    2. : Put yourself you are the person who try to help, not the one who teach / order ppl to do what you want. Does not make much sense to me : I help and in some ways I teach here (if someone learns from me it must mean that I teach something ) .
I never order people to do what I want - I only respond to postings and if I give some instructions to a user than it still is his decision to follow them or not.
If I would "order" people in here they would recieve infringments and warnings - I'm only a user here and no moderator or admin ,so what exactly do you mean???

You can ask but I don't think you will be able to find many people in here that would say I mistreated them in any form without a reason for it.....

    Fair enough

Even you think DU is the boss.

I like this forum, but just don't like the way he talks. That's it.

Sorry for wasting other people's time. Get back to subject.

I posted the updated POI's that Puca started some time ago and added a few newer ones from POIPLAZA - this collection can be found if you search my postings (might even be enough to search the threads I started).

@ Carey Bennett : If you are a moderator at a big GPS forum and Admin for a new GPS forum you have to learn to keep up with some trouble ,otherwise it will be impossible to do this.
Most ppl you won't notice as they only read and download and you always get some people that are totally happy ,but also a few that take take everything personally.
I usually write my response and I'm done with it - no use paying too much attention to "unwanted" postings.
The nice comments that you get every now and than are the "payment" that you get for all the hard work

So Puca is no longer maintaining a list of POI's and any one after an up to date list has to scour the forum and hope that what they get is current ?

It would be nice if all the downloads were on some regularly updated web page so that people did not have to search the forum and hope what they find is the latest. It would also be easy just to point people to the said page when they were looking for files.
