    Default Tomtom school zone warning.

Is there any way or application that can time limit the annoying warning just to between 8-9:30am and 2:30-4pm, it's farken really annoying when you are driving all day with that thing and I can't just keep going into the settings to turn it on and off.
Please guys if anyone knows of a fix let me know.

    Cheers

I'm afraid there is no fix .
I had the same trouble and after a while I decided to turn the shool zones off permanently.
The signs are big enough for me
The problem is that Tomtom has not realised that there are countries with timed speedlimits...

The problem is I can't turn it off permanently as we have some school zone around my area with fixed cameras, so if you forget abut the school zone and doing 50-60k/h you will still get done, farken annoying shit.
    thanks anyway
Do you think if we write a complaint to TOMTOM they will provide a fix?

I reckon it would be worthwhile because every user in this country seems to have the same problem.

I understand that it is annoying ,but do you really need a reminder to drive at the legally allowed speed???
The signs are big enough and every good car (or the driver) should have a clock..
I don't think Tomtom will change anything - they don't even have an office in this country and making a change in the software for only one country??
Why not complain to the council to make the speed limits permant like in the rest of the modern world?? Would be easier..
Just joking !! I know that this is real problem ,but I contacted Tomtom several times by Email and they won't understand the problem - they can't even believe that the speed limit is only activ for a couple of hours every day

What about when the camera has variable speed. EG during school times its set to 40 and at other times it operates at faster speeds? I assume that tomtom can not tell the difference variable speed school one cameras.

Not only that : IMHO they don't care ,because they can't see a problem with this.
    They wrote me back :
    Dear Mr. XXXXXXXXXXX ,
we understand your concern but right now we can't do anything to improve the way the warning are working.
You can turn the warning off or remove the file "School_Zones.ogg" from your map folder to achieve a silent warning.
It is not possible to assign specific times to any POI category.
Please make sure that the latest updates are installed on your device.

    Kind regards ,

These people are fuuuued man, they should do something about it, especiallyy at 2:30pm -4:00pm that's when I forget the school zones.
and one more thing the other day I got 2 problems, 1: at the end of the road turn right, and I bloody got there it's a turn left only with concrete in the middle of the road that won't let you turn right even if you wanted too.
2: at the end of the road turn right then right and after following the gps I found my self to be in a bus only area, and I couldn't do anything about it, only if the cops saw me, LOL

Yep , I know that problem too !!
But hey that what map share is for...
Mark the error on the map , correct it if possible (e.g. if the council decides the local speedway is only one way now) and upload it .

So we stop for every map error , correct it , and with the new map we get 2%discount for every error reported
But anyway I need a now ,cheers
