ISA server 2006 domain help

hi guys

i just need some help with ISA server 2006 i set it up tonight and i have just setup DHCP access rule so that my computers can get ips and iv allso set it up for my computers to be able to get internet but my problem is i cant now add any new computers to my domain it just comes up with and error saying theres no domain controller so in over words my server isent responding to the computer to join the domain so i was just wanting to know what port or protorcal would i have to allow in ISA for the server to respond to the computer that im wanting to add to my doamin

Have not played with IAS for years. Is there a reason why you dont want to allow "all traffic" from you internal range to that server. That is, if you trust your inside network then its much easier to block the ports you dont want if you are looking for "full" access to that server. If you want minim access, work out the what you want your inside range to do then look up the ports needed for each of those services. You may need to open ports for the server to talk to your inside network as well.

ie:
Server to inside range : what ever is needed
inside range to Server : what ever is needed
inside to outside : what ever is needed/allowed
outside to inside : and all that nat stuff...


This would be a good place to start.

yeah i tried that tonight i let all traffic from internal to local host but then the default proxy ISA server gives then isent needed and all my computers can get internet without it so now i need to find the right things to allow
