Does anyone have a recent link to the maps and keygen? I'm getting file not found on them all

Thanks! The compatibility chart says maps V8.55.2884 isn't compatible with TomTom 7.9XX on PDA/PNA, I'll try the d/l and let you know though.
The 855.2884 maps don't work on wince devices, I've been able to download 855.2883 maps and they're working perfectly. Had a few small problems locating the language settings but working perfectly now. A huge thanks to the helpful posts on these forums!
BTW i've loaded, and I used easy activator 0.57.21 to activate them.
My GPS is one of the 7" chinese ones that look like a giant iphone running wince 5. The steps I needed to follow were:
1. Follow steps 1-6 in downunder35m's tutorial
2. Copy the maps folder to the root of the SDCard
3. Activate the maps using easy activator
4. Change Currentmap.dat in the TomTom directory to say ". \SDCARD\AUS_855_2883\" (without the quotes)
5. Fire up TomTom and change the language
Note: This unit ONLY accept the maps if the folder is located on the root of the SDCard NOT in My Documents, this took me ages to figure out!
I did download the backup, but you say: 3. Start your PNA with the card in it and run the "Autorun.exe" from the SD card - this is necessary to install the DLL files for the Navigator!
You can't run the Autorun.exe on a chinese unit. It need the navigator.exe file to run.
Is there a way to get around that problem?
On my unit you can change the path for the navigation software, under settings (cog icon) then more settings (">" icon) then "Set Navi Path". I changed this to "autorun.exe" to install the dll files. You need to change it to the TomTom exe file after running autorun.exe.
I am still stuck, I manage to get CEMenu running on my Chinese deck, but every button I pressed, I get an error message. Also, which button can get you to the Win CE control panel? I am stuck. Basically, I am getting that TomTom is freezing after 1 minute problem. I am confused how I can get it to work.
One way is to change the registry, but I am not sure how it can be done. Can someone help
The other method I have seen is use CEMenu to get to CE control panel and set all power management stuff to off

Cheers Downunder. Found thread on the net which I will test out. If it fails I'll take a look at your collection.
what map do you have? and what type of GPS are you running?
Hi it's an eonon car unit which had igo already installed I have installed tomtom 7 wince 5 but having problems adding maps the maps I have used is uk.925.54..09
Which activator are you using and does it have the meta code for your map yet?
And what is the error? Not sure that there is a meta code for that map yet so you will have to wait.
Hmm how do I find out with the software of tomtom of which map types it can support?
you have the right map you just need to wait for the meta code to roll up soon.
