I have a friend (as always) that is on bigpond (dickhead)
his outlook email stopped working and as usual the highly qualified staff at bigpong couldn't get it going so told him to use web mail.
I have fixed his outlook but in the mean time he has setup folders on web mail server is there a simple way to get these down from server on to local machine so he can use outlook.
I am being lazy here as I dont want to spend much time at his house so thought I would cheat and ask for a quick give me instead of learning.
thanks

Thanks I will try but these are more for closed systems meaning an intranet as a posed to internet
It is really very simple even a child could work it out. Move the emails from their assigned folders back to the inbox then mark them as unread then sign out then start outlook and come on down.
PostScript: I could have posted this a couple of minutes after you posted but you inferred that anyone who was with Bigpond was a dickhead, well some of us don`t have a choice a lot of remote areas are only serviced by Telstra. So who looks like a dickhead now.

Thanks I was trying to keep his folders as per import / export this guy was told who to connect through but still went to bigpud as have about three people who i used to freely help sorry for your situation but even when I was in southwest of WA I went sattelite so as not to use bigpud with their you are more than 8 km from exchange crap
Well a little bit more work but do as i said but one folder at a time and then drag them into their appropriate folder from the Outlook inbox it still shouldn`t take more than a couple of minutes.
