TomTom One XL

Hi,

I'm really hoping that someone can help me out... i have a Tom Tom One XL unit and due to my computer bombing i have managed to get my device to a stage where it will boot up however will not read any maps that i put on there.

I have tried numerous things, upgrading the Navcore to a 7.XX or an 8.XX version and no matter what i do it will not read any maps.

I am hoping that someone can put me out of my misery and just give me a really way that i could start from scratch as i basically do not know if what i am trying to work with will infact run anything... i'm just about to go and buy myself a whole new unit...

give you a tip it has all been written for you disregard what model you have they are all basically the same and most will use firmware from another quite happily read here and all links to latest maps and firmware to run said maps is here as well
