    Default burning software

what would be the best burning software for dvd movies these days
i used to use anydvd in conjunction with clone dvd with no hassles .
Recently i updated bith anydvd and clonedvd to anydvd 6.5.2.2 an clonedvd2 2.9.2.1 and it gives me a bloody css message that it is not allowed to copy , I thought anydvd took care of that ?
anyways I am after something nice and simple that will copy the movies onto a standard dvd-r

If it's a pirated version, perhaps the copyrite holder made & released the crack in order to annoy people

If it's an original I use AnyDVD, DVD Shrink and then burn with Nero. BTW go into the settings in AnyDVD and make sure you've ticked the appropriate boxes.

DVD43 will run in the background, and in combination with one click, will remove the decryption on the fly. It will install a semi-smiley face on your taskbar

I like the ease of use with 1click, but I'll have a look at clonedvd2 on your recommendation.

    Anybody using DVDXCopy International?
My daughter has a copy on her computer and I used it today to burn some discs that my ever faithfull Shrink refused to handle.
I tried to take a copy of this progarm from her computer to mine but although it went over, I cant find any install program.
I did try to 'RUN' it but it said the DVD was 'CCS' or something.
Her computer burnt it ok, but it took awhile.

I thought DVD43 was to confuse the computer into allowing out of region discs to be played without having to change the region code settings, also is there an update, my version is 3.9.0.0.
I have seen the yellow smiley face go a devilish green while it does it bit.

    The latest version is 4.4.1.0.

    From the DVD43 website (w*w.dvd43.com):
"DVD43 is a free DVD decrypter that runs in the background and decrypts DVDs on the fly. This website gives you some basic information, like what it does, how to use it, and where to download it. If your copy program needs a decrypter, you can use DVD43. It's free, so you won't need to waste money on a decrypter. This website does not host the DVD43 setup file and is not affiliated with the authors of DVD43, but it does provide safe links to the program.

WHAT DOES IT DO?: DVD43 will decrypt (unlock) a movie DVD so that your copy program can read it. If the DVD structure is non standard or the DVD contains bad sectors, your copy program needs to take care of that. Outdated copy software like DVDXCopy can't handle bad sectors commonly found on newer DVDs. You need a copy program that provides frequent updates to handle new movies as they are released. I have included a list of programs (at the bottom of this page) which are compatible with DVD43. Only one (1Click DVD Copy) was able to copy all the DVDs I tested without errors."
