    Default Austar Flinders Decoder

Our Austar Atlas decoder died on Friday and I called for help. "You've got a dead decoder" was the reply and they were going to send out a replacement by mail to arrive in about 10 working days. It's now Tuesday (2 working days later) and the new decoder arrived. Installed OK, but can only receive channels 1 and 18. It's a Flinders model and only will show 1 and 18 - no 3-digit channels any more!!!! Just found that Austar now closes at 9pm. Any ideas what my problem might be? Thanks.

I thought they had a fix your problem yourself option on the phone? Im sure I heard that option in the tech support option, where you state the problem and their computer tries to fix it ie hit the card

You will need to call and get a card hit (refresh). They might have the automated system to do it for you. When complete the channel numbers will be the same as your last decoder (3 digits).

try this, select your tv guide, then select a sport channel and push OK and see if it takes you to that channel and opens up the rest of the channels for you
