Satellite Finder Specifications

I am gonna buy another Satellite Finder as I gave the one I have used in the past to my brother.

Nothing special needed but i was wondering about the sensitivity dB value.

The one below has 7dB but I have seen others that have 10 or 11dB sensitivity.

Will an 11 dB unit be much of a difference?

Those type of satfinder are all similar.

I wouldn't rely on any stated specs as being accurate.

If there was any difference, one with greater sensitivity will locate weaker signals better than the other, however, it doesn't state selectivity.

If you have high sensitivity but low selectivity, it may indicate signal from an adjacent satellite and not the one you are trying to align to.

These cheap meters all provide only very rough approximation.
