I have had a tomtom for 2 years now and never received an email from them and i did tick to recieve emails offers and that stuff too

Likewise, and I bought map updates before discovering this site. No gift for me, no more money to tomtom (well, thats not why, I reckon they are just over the top with their insistence on having to pay for stuff that other devices have as standard, and I am going to sell my Go730. over it)
