    Question Smartcard question ?

    Hello guys,

I just activated my SelecTV card (Irdeto, Zeta (purple) and now I would like to use it on my Dreambox DM800 HD with Gemini 4.30 . What I need to do ? How can I check if my device recognize the card ? What SoftCAM do I need to use ? How I need to inserd the card - chip-up or chip-down ?

    Thank you in advance guys

If you have alook here you should find answers that might help you.

Oh.. & in the DM500 & DM600 the card goes chip down so I am assuming that its the same for DM800.

Hi, Chip down. Scam 3.29a, not the latest one. The box will tell u that a card has been inserted, If it does not, then u are using the wrong cam.

    Good luck.

Actually nothing. I was trying to make it work (reboot the box and changing emu's) with no luck and just left the card in the receiver during the night. In the morning I just turned the device on and everything just worked fine

P.S.: I am using the latest version of Scam emu.

Thanks. It's good to know the latest version of scam works as well.
