    Default NEC Accusync Lcd

Ive got one of these, worked in the morning, came back at lunch time now all it displays is a few grey lines horizontal and one big one vertically... Found out its out of warranty. Is this a common fault? Anything i could look for that could be faulty? Anyone got a service manual? Or is it just a chuck away job...

    thanks
    chris

take the back off , remove the shielded metal case holding the 2 pcb's with the ac supply/backlight and control pcb and have a look at the solder joints, condition of the capacitors etc.
the panel can cause that as can the control pcb, but if the power supply has gone undervolt then it might upset the lot.
cold boot it tomorrow and see if anything changes
