Hack in to friends dreamboxes with messages like " This is Foxtel , we have your house surrounded , come out with your hands and your remote in the air "

I did tell my Mrs something once with it that ended with me sleeping on the couch for a very long time.

of course there is, but you have to have the router at the end configured to let you through, and through to their dreambox.

Open a browser and type in your Dreambox IP address on your network , ie , or whatever it is. If you dont know , you will find it under Network on your Dreamboxes menu via your remote control.

Read what I typed. I didnt say there was anything to do with it in the Network menu. I said if you dont know your IP address go there and look. Log in to your Dreambox's IP address with a web browser ( your Dreambox must be of course connected to your network as must be the computer you are using )

Been doing messages for ages. Can send them to Anyone.
Go into the settings page in pli and change the web interface from port 80 to port 8081. This changes it away from the defaults which are also other programms default ports. and will allow you to identify multiple dreamboxs in the same location.
ie Loungeroom DM = port 8081
Bedroom = 8082 and so on.
Now port forward port 8081 to the ip address of your Dreambox.
    Obviously x is your IP

    works perfectly.
