TomTom 7 and htc touch

hey everyone i just wanted to tell you all that TomTom 7 and the HTC touch ELF do not work together at all. after following instructions after instructions i cannot make the phone find my maps at all.

The phone is running its a cooked rom as it is my primary GPS unit. i have tryed putting the map files into my documents and also put them in the root file.

one question tho can i put the newest maps i bought onto tom tom 6 cause it does not find them either. i have spoken to tomtom and they will happily refund me because the num nuts on the phone dint tell me about the compatibility. that's if i can not get the new maps to work. V.35

so if all else fails then i will ring them back for a refund.

can anyone help ???
