DM800 boot loader upgrade?
More a question of curiosity as you see DM800 clones with boot loader #72 etc. Can this be upgraded to #74 or later?
With a Genuine DM800 I gather you can upgrade the bootloader? Is the boot loader upgraded witht the installation of the newer images or is it a separate proceedure?

You need to change the sim card. The drivers, MAC, serial & other stuff are held there apparently.
Apparently, if you get the sim from a genuine & put it in a clone, the clone is recognised as being geniune

You can do it either way, If a new image requires a later bootloader it is usually included in the image.Originally Posted by LeroyPatrol
