have you tried turning off the STB (unplug from power socket)
wait 1 minute,
then plug back in & restart the STB
heya, Ive got a second fox box on the caravan running off its own dish and since Monday, I've lost 9, 10, Fox8+2, TV1+2 and BBC Knowledge.
All other channels that i know of work ok and the main box in my house works fine on all channels.
Im leaning towards the LNB (its the LO 11300 not sure of make).
Is the anything else i should look at, all connections have been checked and im getting 80% signal strength.
If I replace the LNB, should I get the 10700 or 11300? Any recommendations on places in melb to purchase from and models to steer clear of?
Thanks, I really miss BBC knowledge and my 5.30pm fix of top gear

yeah, i tried that first up Osirus, no luck there unfortunately
because of the upgrade you might have to do a re scan.
Slightly OT but I have noticed that all the above channels, which are on one transponder, are being mirrored from C1 on the new D3 sat on the 12100 TP.
I get the feeling that the 12487 TP currently on C1 will be dropped shortly.

Have the same situation here. All channels on 12.485V are down. Gives the "no satellite signal is being recieved" message. I get all other transponders both horizontal and vertical with both higher and lower frequencies. I had decided that it was a poxtel problem until I saw the post with the reference to one box being O.K. and the other no go. Might be time to check the LNB.
channels are on that TP.

if changing the lnb defiantly go the 10700 as the 11300 will not receive anything coming of d3 shortly
IF IT DONT WORK USE A BIGGER HAMMER
No channels lost here... try a known working box.
I have checked the LNB on my fox dish and found that it is 11300. This would seem to confirm that the channels previously on 12485V on C1 have already been switched to 12092V [as per Strong blind scan] on D3.
Looks like it's time to change to a 10700 LNB. Don't think I will bother to contact poxtel, probably quicker and less hassle to do it myself. Now where did I see instructions on changing LNB settings in the standard decoder?
I know! do a search!
I should have mentioned earlier, the box in the house which is working fine is using a 10700 LNB.
Im not sure now whether to change the 11300 LNB or not...
If you have an 11300 a number of channels will be missing from your line up from what I can see. I am not missing all those but am missing 7,9,10 , BBC Knowl.
I presume it is because they are shifting channels around with the new sat and if you dont have a 10700 you will not be seeing them.
Off to Ebay
9 and 10's disappeared for me overnight - a rescan brought them back
rumour has it might be the move from C1 to D3
in which case 10700 lnb might be a good idea for you mate

got a 11300 lnb here and all channels seem to be working fine. kinda weird that some have lost channels and some haven't!
I tried a recan but still cant get the 9's and 10's. A new BBC Knowledge has appeared below the old one and works ( old one doesnt ).
Thats on a Dreambox with an 11300.
I fitted a new 10.700 LNB to my fox dish today and [after some difficulty] changed the settings in the Pace DS420NF box to match the new LNB and I now have all channels back. I think this confirms that these channels [9,10 etc.] have been switched to D3 - 12,092V.
The Pace box is a bit tricky to change LNB settings; I was about to give up when I stumbled on the method used to store the changed data. This is what I did:-
Setup
System Setup
System settings
0611 - Select
LNB setup
Enter 10.70 and PRESS THE "UP" BUTTON
Save new settings.
If you don't press the "up" button it defaults back to 11.30

Thanks for all the help, it looks like a new LNB is what i need, before i go get one, is there a way to re-scan the channels with one of these boxes just to see if I can get BBC know back...?
Also, how do you do the forum thank thingo, cant work that one out either lol
