Default Problem with a few Foxtel channels.

    Hey guys,
I'm having a bit of a problem one 1 of my boxes with about 5 foxtel channels, the rest work fine.
I get the error that says, " No satellite signal is being received".
    I have tried,
    Powering unit on/off.
    I updated firmware
    Removing and reinserting smart card.
Checking signal status.( which is fine)
And i also tried rescanning all the channels, and the 5 channels still don't work.

If anyone could help me out that would be great.
    Thank You
    eddie

Do you have an 11300 lnb ? Are the channels the FTA ones ? ( 7,9 and 10 ) If so a bit of search around should give you answers. What sort of receiver is it ?

If thats not the case , I dunno

What type of box is it. If it is a IQ2 then you need 2 feeds. Probably this is not your problem because you do say that you a good signal level.

    Default foxtel channels

lost fox 8+2 and tv1+2 .Was using a lnb 11300. Changed over to a universal and using the code 1161 changed the lnb setting to 10.6 and got all channels back. I think if you get a lnb 10700 and change lnb setting to 10.7 it should work.

You say the problem is only with 'one' of your boxes.

Have you tried swapping them over?

It's possible there's a faulty connection from the LNB/multiswitch, cabling, etc. (assuming they are both connected to the same dish).

If the box works on the other outlet, then it's likely to be one of the above problems, or a faulty LNB/multiswitch itself.

If it still has a problem on the other outlet, it's a box issue and you should contact Foxtel.

check the cabling from the LNB to the STB, it may just be a loose F-connector.

Many people have reported this issue since CH9, CH10, Fox8+2 etc have moved from C1 to D3.
If you have an 11300 LNB you will not be able to recieve these channels untill you change it to a 10700.

In your case I don't know why your only having trouble with one box.......
