DM500C and HD/Digital

I have foxtel set up at my house via internet and a dreambox 500C - a mate set up everything for me so I don't quite understand how it all works and i was hoping somebody would kind enough to help me.

Is it possible to receive Foxtel HD channels with my box?

How do I view "views choice" channels?

THe movie channel is not part of the foxtel subscription, am I able to view these channels at all - at the moment it is just a black screen.

Would i be able to view digital free to air channels with the box?

No, not directly. It is possable by streaming to a PC though. The DM will do the key decryption & the PC (if the hardware can handle it) can do the mpeg4 decoding.

You would be refering to 'Foxtel Boxoffice', otherwise known as 'Pay Per View'
No, not unless someone makes the call and orders (pays) for those movies, at which time the card will recive an over the air hit that will enable the ordered movie/event to be decoded untill 6am the following morning

7, 9, 10 ABC & SBS should be working ok?
