does seem 'funny' it isn't something easy like that one channel is broadcast in the NTSC standard ??
Firstly, i'm not actually sure that it's the Dreambox that's the issue, but i'll start here.
One one channel (Te Reo), I seem to have no colour in the picture whatsoever. This was no problem, until I wanted to watch the NZ Breakers.
1 - it's only on one channel that I know of, every other channel is fine
2 - when I watch it via VLC or a recording from that channel on my TV, it's fine.
3 - it seemed to be OK on my Strong box for a while, but would exhibit similar symptoms as well.
4 - I tried using RCA cable instead of s-video, no difference
My setup is as follows:
Dreambox --- s-video ---- genius TV go TV tuner box ----- VGA cable ---- LCD monitor
I wonder if the issue actually lies between the TV-GO and the monitor. I just find it's odd on one channel
Anyone got any ideas?

Is "Te Reo" like the "TCM" channel ??
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
Have you tried a rescan allstar?
Maybe the video pid has changed somehow?
sounds like a ntsc issue
can you output straight to a tv
are you sure they are not broadcasting in black and white
old reruns of F-Troop
Cheers, Saintaholic
the display was set to auto before, but i've changed it to PAL, made no difference. Also did a rescan.
Te Reo is the Maori language channel, they play the ANBL games live.
Here is a video to try and explain it better. Note how it fixes itself when I go back ot the other channel.

Weird, looked like it even started of in colour for a split second.
S-Video? could be a bent pin on a connector, but would usually give B&W on all channels.
Have you called the provider? It could be a head end problem, do you have anyone to compare this with?
iam a bogan
Te Reo no problem here allstarnz although I using SCART to composite via DM600.
12455H 22495 3/4 SNR 90% AGC 79%
