Do you have a 10700 LNB ?
G'day All,
With the recent transponder / channel shuffling, my channel list has become out of date. I have tried rescanning and still do not get the +2 channels also Playhouse Disney channel does not seem to scan in.
I have reloaded a new satellites.xml with the following in it:-
Still no good.Code:<transponder frequency="11721000" symbol_rate="29450000" polarization="0" fec_inner="7" system="1" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="11970000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12053000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12091000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="0" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12094000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12094000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12136000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12176000" symbol_rate="28650000" polarization="1" fec_inner="0" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12177000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12177000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12287000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12305000" symbol_rate="30000000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12358000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12367000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12398000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12407000" symbol_rate="30000000" polarization="1" fec_inner="2" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12438000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12448000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12478000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12487000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12518000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12527000" symbol_rate="30000000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12558000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12567000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12598000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12607000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12638000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12647000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12689000" symbol_rate="27800000" polarization="0" fec_inner="3" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12692000" symbol_rate="28650000" polarization="1" fec_inner="1" system="0" modulation="0"/> <transponder frequency="12728000" symbol_rate="24450000" polarization="1" fec_inner="1" system="0" modulation="0"/>
Any tips?
For the record I am using LT image SP8 and I have tried manual scan of just transponders 12438 H and 11970 H.

Do you have a 10700 LNB ?
I had an 11300 running the same settings on a 7020 ( as I have for years ) and had to replace it with a 10700 due to the channel changes they are making in regards to the new satellite. I lost numerous channels until I replaced the 11300 with a 10700. There are a few threads about it.
no they are probably right for your lnb
- but you need to get a 10700 lnb on your dish to get the other channels
(yeah - like sanity said)

Thanks blokes.
I think I have a universal kicking around here somewhere. Might try that.
If the freq of the LNB is not low enough to get the channels on 11970 H what would be stopping it from getting Playhouse on 12438 H?
Thanks.

edited above sorry.
Would one of these be suitable?
I assume it is dual Polarity as well.

I bought one here for $25 delivered which I thought was a pretty fair price. Delivery was also very fast.
Spence , not too sure what your issue is in playhouse as it was one I didnt lose. I cant remember all the channels I was missing with the 11300 but 7,9,10 and BBC knowledge were some of them.
there ya go spence - go with sanity's call - it says 10700 - and he had a good buy there
