Talking GARMIN for Nokia s60 with Australia + NZ 2010 Map

If there are any mistakes, please PM me to let me know so that I can fix them.
Please notify me of dead links as well, I'll do my best to fix it.

for most of you, it will work the first time, however some of you will have problems,
some minor and some major. All devices are different and you will get many different types
of errors. I can't list all the issues here but I want to ask people to help eachother out
and support eachother if someone asks for help. I'll do my best as well.

If there are newer versions of what I uploaded here, please let me know, please dont just say
there is a newer one, please supply the link or upload it yourself. Thanks

    THINGS TO KNOW:
    ------------------------------------------------------

    1) English language only
    2) English voices only
    3) Australia map only
    4) Map is UNLOCKED, so you don't need to activate map at all.
    5) I will upload more things for this but that is it for tonight.

    WHAT TO DOWNLOAD:
    ------------------------------------------------------

    1) REQUIRED - for Symbian S60 3rd Edition (software)
    2) REQUIRED - Australia and New Zealand [UNLOCKED]
    3) REQUIRED - (keygen)
    4) OPTIONAL - Extra (optional)

    PREPERATION:
    ------------------------------------------------------

    1) OPTIONAL - Back up any Garmin data that you may have (eg: poi's, vehicles, maps, speed cams etc).
    2) OPTIONAL - Uninstall any previous Garmin versions.
    3) Get your Nokia USB cable or what ever data cable that came with your phone (alternatively, if your nokia has a MicroSD, you can take out the card and put it in your PC/Laptop and transfer data that way).
    3) OPTIONAL - Connect your Nokia to your PC, don’t use PC suite, just go through Explorer/My computer and remove any Garmin related files from the root directory of your device’s internal/extended memory. Only do this if you already have a older version of garmin installed.

    INSTALLATION:
    ------------------------------------------------------

    1) Extract Garmin [5.00.60 standalone en-gr.rar] that you downloaded above (using winrar)
    2) Copy all folders inside [Garmin 5.00.60 standalone en-gr] folder to the root of your internal/external memory of your nokia phone, including GarminMobileXT.sis

    3) On the phone, search for a file in the root directory named [GarminMobileXT.sis] and run/install that file.
    4) Once that had completed, you should connect back to the PC and remove the .sis file you had just installed or you can just leave it there, up to you.
    8) Extract the [gmapprom.rar] file, you will get a gmapprom.img file - This is the map file
    9) Copy across the gmapprom.img file into the Garmin directory on your phone/card.

    SOFTWARE UNLOCK CODE / ACTIVATION:
    ------------------------------------------------------

    1) You can now remove the phone from the PC as some Nokia's dont allow access to the memory card when plugged into the PC.
    2) Navigate to the APPLICATIONS icon thru your menu and find GARMIN, then run it.
    3) GarminXT should load up and give you a list of some options. Choose [connect to a garmin gps] or similar, its the last option. Choose this and it will give you access to the main menu (if it starts to search for a GPS, just hit skip for now, you can configure it later).
    4) Go into ‘tools’ (the spanner icon), then settings (again, the spanner) then scroll down to ‘about’ and write down the 10 digit Card ID.
    5) Exit GarminXT
    6) Extract JMKG 1.5 FINAL.rar
    7) Run garmin_kgen.exe
    8) Enter the card id that you wrote down in the [enter the unit id here] field, choose Garmin Mobile XT, then press Generate

    9) Copy or write down the generated code
    10) Create a text file and copy/type the generated code in it
    11) In notepad, go to file, save as, then save the file and name it SW.UNL (NOT SW.TXT.UNL)
    12) Copy the SW.UNL file to the Garmin folder of your phone, it should look like this.

    13) Launch Garmin again and it should now be registered and working (You may need to select the Map from the menu. To do this go to Tools, Manage My Data, Map Sets - and make sure the relevant file is enabled.

    That is it ! Enjoy

I'm having the exact same issue, except I'm using a black n95 8gb. Could the firmware be the issue? I'm running V 30.0.018. I havn't had this problem with any other applications. Any ideas?

    UPDATE:
Got Garmin XT up and running by downloading and installing the official release from the Garmin website

I can confirm that the keygen works with the offical version 5.00.5, as I was having problems loading version 5.00.6 on my e52.

    Thanks hollowman and trist10.
