IS IT POSSIBLE .... to run the sygic mobile on a desktop xp comp. I realise that the GPS function would not work, but as i have the system in my car i would like to try to view the maps and also to view "recorded " trips on my comp.

How could this be done? Have already copied files onto comp but it dosent know how to open them.....

Have downloaded and installed, "Sygic for PC" and have inserted SD card with maps etc from Car into comp. It now requires activation code before it will open maps.
Will keep trying.. (can't find a activation code) Have typed every code i can find written on the packaging etc ....

Download the "keygen" via the link in post #26.
The "GSMfree" is the password for the Keygen rar file.

Use the keygen to activate Sygic with your device code

YES YES thanks got it to work sort of .....
But looks like it was a waste of time for me. I thought i might be able to have a play with the maps etc on my comp without the GPS working as that is in the car (in dash). It does activate and says map loaded ... but nothing appears as there is no GPS signal. Well worth a try .... THANKS for all the help

Have tried various settings .. even tried putting in long and lat co-ordinates
It does accept these instructions but fails to do anything except connect to a non existing GPS...... then tells you no signal .....

PS thanks to everyone (cant find button to press)

Same, just installed on my E71 as well.

Been using Garmin XT on it and finding it to be very flaky (but could be the phone's GPS not the software). Previously I was running TT6 on my WM6 smartphone which was great, so thought I would test if Sygic is better than Garmin.

I really miss TT and I don't think it's running on a Symbian phone yet ... correct me if I'm wrong hollowman

sygic is the easiest gps app to install and run on nokia phones

look here, you'll see that it just reverts back to the main screen... if you can solve this, i will crown you has "hero" lol

Hmmm ... not sure, but it just works.

I'm sure I used your instructions in the Garmin thread and I've not had any problems. Remember, I'm using an E71 not N95.

Thanks alot for this, I have been using Sygic in the past and could not get it to work on my new car. However I have noticed that this version does not have the school zone feature, ie when approaching a school zone if I was doing over 40km and hour a noise would be played as a reminder. Is there something I am missing in a setting.

I think ti was not working as a POI, as I would only get an alert if I was going over 40km/hr,

I will have a look and try and find something,

thanks also for the work you put in,
