Thanks a bunch to Hollowman for his great effort. since I found this forum, I never needed any other forum for a solution on GPS navigation. Great work!!!
I installed Sygic 7.72 on my SE Satio, working but having some issues. While navigating, it says road number instead of road name (e.g. instead of "Princess Freeway" it says M1). Is there any work around to resolve this?
And if I stop at traffic light, the map starts rotating and shows my location at different streets and starts recalculating constantly. Also sometimes it does same while driving as well, looks like GPS keeps losing my position. Any idea guys?

Sygic install failure
I have a Mio Moov 300 car GPS where i am trying to install the Sygic software to (files Sygic 7.71, Australia map). The ops system failed some time back. I'm getting messages saying cannot find autorun or its components. Followed by an error: invalid copy of sygic drive SD card." The later mentioned can't be true. The Sd card works just fine as the installation was successful done using the same SD card on my HTC TyTN II WM 6.1. Although no GPS signal is received but all the maps and use of the programs works perfectly on the HTC. I take it that the HTC additional add on future "external antenna" is probably the GPS module itself (reason for not getting the gps signals), is this correct?
Please help me getting the Mio GPS working again!

when I extract the maps using winrar it gives me the following errors.

the problem is that the rar file is corrupt ... re download it
(it must not have downloaded properly)

I believe the windows CE it self is at fault. I think i should start with a new fresh windows CE installation. How do i get hold off and install such a windows package?
Was my theory on the HTC GPS connectivity correct?

Although it says tele atlas, I think that you will fing that Sygic uses Sensis maps, a quick search on google will verify this.

lol, surely you can find a copy of it somewhere
snippy - did you hard unlock your mio moov? or do you use mioautorun via SD etc? - if you pull that SD out and try running the sygic SD it will cause all sorts of errors -mio autorun has to stay in there and you need to create a link to sygic form the hacked menu.
If you are just renaming the sygic exe to the moov 300 autorun exe name then sygic may be causing errors as other dlls etc could be looking for a specific filename exe.
Also with your wince issues - I am assuming you have tried a "hard" reset? (don't just hit power and turn off, hold it down for 8 seconds and it will completely reset to factory). Sorry, simple question but I had to ask.
Nightshadow i did hard unlock the mio(not from the SD). The mio autorun is used and the link/start up is created within the unlock\autorun script file. This links point to start sygic autorun on the sd card. When the unit restarts it is then that i am getting the messages as previously described. "Cannot find autorun or its components. Followed by an error: invalid copy of sygic drive SD card"
My moov 300 doesn't have the hard reset button, like some devices. (you can't hold it in for 8 secs). It only has the on off and reset button. The reset being the hard rest!. I have also used software version for hard restart. Is there any other way in hard restarting the moov 300?

If you have a Nokia E71, Sygic does work it hard, and you may have to remove some other applications to make it work. I was running 2 email clients (Good and Nokia) which may explain why

hmm - snippy the reset is probably enough. You need to remove the autorun (hard unlock) from the internal flash then do a hard reset to restore it to factory. I'm hoping you bacdked up all the internal flash before unlocking.
Before you try that though. Don't autorun sygic. Try using the mioautorun to run explorer or miopocket etc then select the sygic to run from within the unlocked mio. The moov300 will easily handle sygic on top of explorer etc.
Failing that - not sure.
I know one of the threads on here or gpsunderground someone uploaded a full dump of their moov 300 which may help you restore to factory and try again... I will search my portable HDD when I get home for it aswell.
thanks, works great, just had to tell the GPS to auto detect, other then that, no problems at all on Nokia 5800XM.
