    Default WinCE 6.0 Chinese GPS

I am thinking about one of these Chinese GPS in-dash units from autodvdgps.com for my Suzuki Swift:-

I note that it says they run WinCE 6.0 - is that going to be an issue getting GPS software like TomTom to run on it ?

Most threads on here seem to talk about WinCE 5.0 or WinCE 4.2.

    Hi Zelig
Just an observation I have made at a number of forums:
IGO works on CE6, but TomTom doesn't on most units, may work on yours, but I wouldn't purchase a new unit on a maybe. get confirmation from the seller with the right of return at no cost to you. Garmin works on some, I had two and Garmin worked on one and not the other, and I could not get Route66 working.

    Thanks Gordon.

Someone else has pointed me towards Chinavasion.com. Their units don't have the car specific fascia, but they seem to be much cheaper and most run WinCE 5.0.

The Gladiator (CVGX-C76) has now moved to the top of my list.
