    Default DM800 Crash can't DreamUP

    Hi all, I have just upgraded from DM500 to DM800. Nice box but I have stuffed it up. Not knowing about the bootloader I flashed the wrong image to it via webbrowser. DreamUp has never worked. Always got 'Not a valid integer'.

    The error I now get is No CA and it won't boot.

    How can I reflash this with correct image if browser and DreamUp won't work?

    I should add this is a clone. Therefore I stuffed up as can be seen my second stage is #75

    Tried 1.3.1.0; 1.3.3.1; 1.3.3.2; 1.3.3.3; 1.3.3.4
    No go.

    I have a working DM800 as well and this does work on DreamUp either.
    Also tried dreamup on Win98 as some suggest

    What image did you use?

    PLiŽ Jade2 Enigma2 for DM800 works well in my clone whereas Jade3 failed.

    I used the lastest NabiloBlack. This uses a #75 second stage according to the hyperterminal log.
    This is where my problem lies. I need to put a new image and second stage on.
    Yes Pli Jade 2 works well. That is what I am now running on the second box

    Correct as Jade 3 and OpenPLi (all versions from the DM600 upwards to the Dm500HD - except the DM7000) all have the new DMM drivers in them that spot clones and stop them dead in their tracks like the log posted above says.

    The only options are;

    1. reflash as you say with Jade 2 or below via dreamUP and if the OP can not get that done, he is kind of stuffed.

    2. buy an original box and have no problems again

    there is a hacked version of dream up which allows you to ungrey the flash button, I think it is contained in a 2nd stage pack zip file............you'll have to try and find it I guess, might not work, I had a 'clone' with a stuffed serial port so did me no good at all LOL
