you need a 10700
pretty cheap on ebay
More and more channels showing – no signal has been received. From searching the forum looks like my 11.3 LNB needs to be replaced. Could you tell me exactly which one I need to buy and what specs?
Would this one be OK?
• INPUT FREQUENCY RANGE:
11.7 - 12.75 GHz
• OUTPUT FREQUENCY:
1000 - 2050 MHz
• L.O. FREQUENCY:
10.7 GHz
And do you know any places in Syd to buy one. My local sat shop has been recently closed. I’m in Parra.

I am pretty sure Sciteq is not a site sponsor.

if your channels are loose then you better tighten them
There was one shop at May's Hill on the Great Western Highway and another who was a site sponser who moved from Concord many years ago to near Lidcombe I think.
I have no idea if both are still in business but the old site sponser's name sounded like it was a Fish and Chip shop.
Another big supplier is out Chipping Norton way, names often mentioned in the forum.

I don't know about "loose" channels?, but yesterday I tried changing the rotation of two 11300 lnb's, because I couldn't tighten the channels? Lost channel signal error message changed from E37 to E52 once the LNB rotation was out, so I ordered two new 10700 LNB's to replace them so that they can get the losing channels back. I'll post the results after the change. Thanks guys for the help.
Changed a 11300 lnb over to a 10700 today and all Austar channels are back. I had to rotate it slightly clockwise (looking at the dish) different to the original 11300 to get all of the channels though.
On optus C1 12518H with the recent change over and shuffle of channels we lost the +2 channels to Optus D3 11968H. We are currently not getting D3 at all on big dishes in NZ and it might be that the beam is more defined over Australia or they are trying out the lower powered backup system transponders. However I noticed over the last few days that C1 12518H has gone from only a blank carrier to some new channel activity. Six channels labelled spare with active channels of CNBC, CBeebies and Sky Racing. Does anyone know whats going to happen and when on 12518H?
I wouldnt mind betting D3 has more sharply defined antenna than C1 does plus now they have both D3 and C1 to get better coverage of both OZ and NZ.
Obviously it is a waste to beam a signal into 'The Pond' where only fishes and sharks live.
This was a compliant made when Sydney's TV transmitters were located so close to the coast that a goodly portion was beamed uselessly out to sea.
Also if they do add further Satelittes to the C1/D3 cluster, with correct targetting they can reuse the same frequencies.
Although only a minor issue, it prevents you seeing what we get and us seeing 'yours' (joke, Joyce).
If NZ goes ahead with that plan to close all terrestial FTA translators and go satelitte and if we ever get ours to do the same, isolation of reception will be name of the game.
