    Default Almost there

    I now currently have

DM500 with CCCAM 1.7.1, NEWCS and CAMD3 installed as a server.

I have CCAM and NEWCS selected as the Provider and Cardserver

    I have a DM600 with CAMD3 installed

    and CAMD3 as the Provider.

The DM600 as the Client is working and gets a picture although the DM500 just sits at a black screen.

    Any ideas.

Really need to get this working

    Current Config's

    Default

which card and provider mate ?
    because as mrmixer said above
you probably dont need newcs in the mix

please try cccam as server and client

    cccam.cfg on the server
    F: user password

    cccam.cfg on the client
    C: serverip 12000 user password

you should get pics on both

another note if you must use newcs - never use the 127.0.0.1 ip - always use your network ip in all configs - it makes a difference

Why don't you just do what nfnovice and mrmixer suggested? It is much simpler and is what I have done between my DM500 server and DM600 client in another room. Only one line required in server CCCam.cfg and another line in the client CCCam.cfg.

No need a key or other settings on either CCcam.
Just write this on Server CCcam cfg:
    F: user1 password
and Just write this on client CCcam cfg
    C: 192.168.2.1 12000 user1 password
CCcam cfg files will have nothingelse.
Just a reminder: if your 12000 port is not open, open it from your routers web face ()
Stick your Blue in your server box should be ok.
    no need other settings.
To check your 12000 port is open just
One litle reminder ... if you trying this on your LAN it is ok.
But if you trying this settings on WAN ip no must be your domain IP
