dm 500s tuner fault

dear friends,

my dm box not indicate service searching (non stranded lnb setting)then after l .re flash install dark star 2 but fault its same,cheek lnb voltage so i cheek tuner voltage 18v/14v its 0v then after remove cover cheek mother board i found LT1930 and c725 capacitor ic not generate voltage unfortunately sri lanka can't find this LT1930 ics . i saw this forum NE555 generate 12v-30v circuit..........plz guys help me solve this problems and guide me step by step

can you tell me ,where i connect 30v supply? my tuner bsbe1-703a but pin 5 not in the tuner

Lol!!! I don't think statements like that are going to do you any favors or speed up response for you

You could try looping the LNB
hook it up to a good, working box and feed the LNB out of the good box to the LNB in of the dreambox. As long as they are both on H & H or V & V it should work.

You might also try injecting the LNB voltage (13V for Vert /18V for Hoz) backward through the LNB out of the dreambox with the LNB hooked to the LNB input (I don't know if that would work - I've never tried it )

i Cheek 30v its missing , finally i built external 30v supply, the experts says connect to tuner pin 5, but schematic diagrams tuner pin 5 is empty

my problem is which pin i connect 30v supply ?
