Sounds like you're trying to run 2 TV's from the one box?
I bought this dm500s last week, all working good apart from it doesn't have rf out. I got one scart to rca converter to connect it to a old vcr, then using the vcr as rf out modulator while the box is also connect to my main TV through the rca out. It is working, but I loose picture quality on the main TV when I have the scart to rca converter plugged in. As soon as I unplug it, the picture quality goes back to normal.
Anyone has idea what could be the problem?
Thanks!

Is there an better way to set this up? I just want to be able to watch the satellite programms in the other room. Thanks!
Sounds like the box can't drive 2 inputs at once. A techo person can prob explain why it doesn't work. I saw on good ol' ebay something so you can split the signal to 2 devices.

The DM500 cannot drive the video output on the SCART and Video out simultaneously.
Here are a few options.
1) For the main TV - Use the Video output from the VCR rather than using the video out on the DM500. (VCR channel needs to be on the correct AV input channel)
2) connect a splitter on the RF out on your video recorder to drive both TV's via their RF inputs.

Thanks a lot guys, I will give it a try.
All DB500's suffer loss of picture quality when both the RCA video out and the scart video out are used.
In your case just use the RCA out from the 500 into the VCR and use the VCR's video out and it's RF out to feed your 2 screens.
oops double post - didn't refresh the page
