Default Need confirmation on D2 weak TP

Hey guys, I have a radio broadcast of the 'Voice of Charity' radio feed from D2 up on mount cootha and I have been complaining to UBI thats its got a weak transmission being easily affected by bad weather. Would anybody here be able to confirm this as UBI doesn't agree.

    D2 @ 152.0E
    12706 H
    Voice of Charity

The TV channels on the same TP seem fine but radio is weaker with BER

I have just done a scan of that transponder [Strong 4658X - 90 cm - Motek]
and found that with my set up, VOC is actually stronger than the TV channels
on that frequency. However I did have to fine tune my motorized dish to get a reasonable signal, and the quality does fluctuate quite badly and appears to be unstable. I would not be surprised to find problems during bad weather.

I guess so its only this radio station that has a problem... All other channels are fine.

Are you refering to the audio quality or the signal quality which means dish reception?

If your cross pole is not alligned properly your STB will always be geared strongly to either the H or V pole. Which means the pole with the lesser signal will drop off first during bad weather conditions

Nice chat Big Cheif, I will double check the skew using the bad transponder. Does not explain why the TV channels work fine though.
