1. You should not post your serial number or device id
2. If the device is completely erased the best way is to use TT Home to install the latest official Navcore.
Since that was not tried or mentionend in any of your posts I get a bad feeling here.
This feeling gets worse if I hear things like "Uhm my dad..kind of erased all of his internal memory didnt know how to backup haha" ...
Why? Because I heard similar "storys" at least 100 times since I started as a moderator....
In 90% of the cases the memory was not erased by accident ,but on purpose because it was a stolen device.
I admit that there are really a few "dummies" out there who really deleted something on the device
But think about it : never used TT Home ,"funny" story on how it happened and no idea what we are talking about here....
Don't take it offensive ,but first it was just the map ,now you need a Navcore too...
And being this an Australian forum I wonder why you would need a US/Can map?
All that makes no real sense to me or maybe I don't understand it.
But with a bit of reading you will find all you need in this forum - even a link for the 8.412 Navcore that is working.
The map is a different story as here are mostly Australian and New Zealand maps requested.
By the way : a 1GB card won't help you much if you need a US/Can map - one more reason to wonder what really happened.....
